The newest report of scientific group BioInitiative 2012 notes that since 2007, proofs that electromagnetic fields and wireless technologies (radiofrequency radiation) have increased significantly. The report includes a review of more than 1,800 new scientific studies. High-risk group includes users of mobile phones, young men, children and pregnant women.

As claimed by Lennart Hardell from the Orebro University in Sweden, “there is a higher risk of glioblastoma (malicious brain tumor) and acoustic neuroma connected with usage of mobile phones and wireless devices. Epidemiologic proofs indicate that the radio frequency should be classified as carcinogenic factor for people. Current existing limitations of the Federal Committee of Communication, IEE and ICNIRP provide no proper protection of public health”.

Several new studies also associate radiation of mobile phones with sperm damage. A phone worn in a pocket or at your belt may damage DNA of sperm, cause sperm distortion and weaken fertility in men. A similar risk occurs when men are using laptops with wireless Internet and keep them on their knees.

Based on accurate EMF/RFR studies, risk of autism in children is also increased and severity of symptoms occurs in people with health issues.

As claimed by Medical Doctor Martha Herbert, “While we are intensively studying the relations between autistic disorders and wireless technologies, we should minimize the exposure to electromagnetic radiation of a person with autistic disorders, children at any age, people planning a child and pregnant women”.

Wireless devices such as phones and laptops may have a harmful effect on pregnant women and affect the fetus’s brain growth. Studies conducted both on animals and humans found correlation of wireless devices radiation with issues related to overexcitement, difficulty in learning or concentration.

According to David O. Carpenter, MD and co-editor of the BioInitiative Report 2012:

“Currently, there are much more proofs that health risks affect billions of people in the whole world. Status quo is not acceptable in the light of these proofs”

BioInitiative Report 2012 includes scientific analysis of electromagnetic field of power lines, electrical cables, wireless devices and technologies (mobile phones, routers, electronic babysitters, laptops and other electronic devices). Among possible side effects of EMF are: DNA and gene damage, cancer and neurological diseases such as Alzheimer disease. It also negatively affects memory, learning, behavior, focusa and sleep. The scientists note that we should immediately establish new safety standards to protect us against EMF and wireless technologies that surround us from every side in our daily life.
